Adults:

Valentine’s Day Wreath – Wednesday, Feb. 11, 6:30 p.m. – Create a wreath for Valentine’s Day with Miss Lindsey – Teens invited, too!

Adult Sewing Classes – Wednesdays, Feb. 11, 18, & 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Learn how to sew and complete one project. Participants must bring their own sewing machines. Call library for list of needed items. Class size is limited. Go to www.gcls.org to register or call 856-467-0111.

Adult Book Club – Meets the last Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. This month’s date is Tuesday, Feb. 24. Under the Wide and Starry Sky by Nancy Horan will be February’s selection.

Tween/Teens:

Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – Exercise your creativity and join other tween/teens on the second Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. Devote this time to writing. This is an opportunity to share your work, too. Different types of writing techniques, writing tips, and writing ideas will be available. This month’s date is Monday, Feb. 9, 7 p.m.

Teen/Tween Book Club – Enjoy some great reads and discussions on the second Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m. This month’s date is Thursday, Feb. 12. Selection TBA.

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Feb. 19, 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!

Anime ClubMonday, Feb. 23, 5 p.m. Our Anime Club will meet on the fourth Mondays of each month.

Teen Advisory Board – Our Teen Advisory Board needs teens to be a Reading Buddy, work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Write reviews and/or create quarterly teen newsletters. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

Childrens:

MakerSpace:  Learn about Snap CircuitsMonday, Feb. 9, 5 p.m. Have fun and learn new technology at the same time! Best suited for ages 9 and up. This technology class will be ongoing and meet the second Mondays of each month.

Coding ClassMonday, Feb. 16, 5 p.m. Coding class will meet the third Mondays of each month. This class is best suited for upper elementary and up.

All Ages:

FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog for a 15 minute time slot. This month’s date will be Monday, Feb. 2 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. Permission slips are required.

4th-6th grade:

Amazing Math Club Thursday, Feb. 5, 7 p.m. – first  Thursdays of each month. Be challenged, have fun, and learn new things! Discover that math can be fun!

Toddlers & Babies:

Please register for all programs – space is limited

Story Time – Story Time is a fun time!  We meet on Tuesday

mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Feb. 10, 17, & 24). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.

Story TimeWednesday mornings story time meets at 10:30 a.m. February’s dates are Feb. 11, 18, & 25 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursdays, Feb 5 & 19 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s dates are Thursdays, Feb. 12 & 26, 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Homework and Reading Buddies – The Reading Buddy Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children for help with learning English, help with phonics and reading skills, and help with Math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a reading buddy during the 2013-2014 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a reading buddy should also contact the library.
