logan policeMay 25: A Bridgeport resident reported that someone entered his detached garage and stole an extension ladder, ladder jack, fishing poles and other construction equipment valued in excess of $2,000. Police have identified a person of interest and are investigating.

May 26: A resident on Stone Henge Drive reported that someone broke out a side window to his residence last night. A group of juveniles were seen fleeing the area following the incident. Damage was estimated at $500.

May 27: Police charged a 20 year old Gloucester Twp. man with possession of prescription medication and possession of drug paraphernalia following a suspicious vehicle investigation on Birch Creek Road. He was processed and released pending court.

May 27: ACME associates reported that a black male attempted to shoplift baby formula, prescription medication, and makeup. The subject fled the store on foot when approached by store personnel. Complaints may be pending.

May 27: Police investigated two incidents of counterfeit $20 bills being passed at the McDonalds on Center Square Road.

May 29: Police charged a 49 year old Cherry Hill woman harassment and defiant trespassing following a dispute on South Bridgeport Road. She was processed and released pending court.

May 29: The Department continues to receive reports of phone scams involving callers posing as IRS agents and demanding money or identifying information from unsuspecting residents. Everyone is reminded that legitimate businesses and government agencies do not use “shake down” tactics.

May 30: While investigating a suspicious vehicle parked on Route 130, police discovered that the car, a 2004 Ford Explorer, had been reported stolen out of Bridgeton City 10 days ago. The operator, 46 year old Christopher Mosely of Bridgeton, was wanted (NCIC) out of Georgia and also had multiple warrants out Camden County. He was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia when a crack pipe was found during the arrest. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of bail.

May 30: Police charged a 22 year old Penns Grove man with DWI and multiple motor vehicle violations following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

June 1: Police charged a 28 year old Paulsboro man with trespassing following an investigation into suspicious activity at an abandoned home on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

June 3: Metal forms valued at $4,000 were reported stolen sometime overnight from a construction site on the 600 Block of Heron Drive.

June 5: Police investigated a road rage incident on Center Square Road that involved two Woolwich residents. Both parties were advised of the citizen complaint procedure.

June 7: Police charged a 40 year old Aston, PA man with DWI following a vehicle stop on Rt. 130. He was processed and released pending court.

June 8: Police charged a 35 year old Mt. Laurel man with DWI following a vehicle stop on I-295. He was processed and released pending court.

June 10: Police charged a 21 year old Logan man with disorderly conduct following a disturbance at a residence in the Vineyards development. He was processed and released pending court.

June 10: Police charged a 33 year old Dover, DE man with theft following an investigation at a business on Berkley Drive. The accused stole a Whirlpool dishwasher valued at $350 from his employer when it was mistakenly loaded on his truck for delivery. He was processed and released pending court.

June 11: A Woolwich woman reported that her car was “keyed” while it was parked on Village Center Drive.

June 12: Police investigated a reported road rage incident which culminated with one of the participants producing a handgun and pointing it at a Logan woman while the two travelled on Rt. 130 North Bound. The accused was described as a black male operating a white car – possibly a Toyota. No other descriptors were provided.

June 12: Police charged a 19 year old Berlin man with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and released pending court.

June 14: Police charged a 59 year old Camden, NC man with multiple motor vehicle violations after he struck a parked car in the Holiday Inn lot and fled the scene. The matter is pending court.
