Swede Talkers Toastmasters Holds Open House in July

toastmasterSWEDESBORO — On Wednesday, July 15, Swede Talkers Toastmasters will hold their annual President’s Night meeting.

The meeting is free and open to the public with plenty of food, drink and dessert. The meeting will be held at 410 Guest Avenue, Swedesboro. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The group will be giving entertaining speeches along with recognition of our past Presidents from the surrounding Toastmasters clubs. There is free admission with RSVP.

Swede Talkers Toastmasters is part of an International, non-profit organization for individuals of all walks of life and ages. You will develop and improve your public speaking and leadership through club meetings, training seminars, leadership roles, and speech contests. We are part of a network of more than 313,000 members, in 14,651 clubs in 128 countries.

Statistical surveys on the subject of “fears” reveal that “fear of public speaking” leads the list for the vast majority of people, even above death and bankruptcy. Yet, other surveys that gauge successful people possess the ability to persuade audiences with polished presentations.

Swede Talkers Toastmaster meetings offers a friendly environment while you develop better speaking and listening and presentation skills. You will learn to think more clearly and quickly on your feet. You will have fun making new friends while sharing many stories through presentations while becoming a better communicator and leader.
