logan policeAug. 14: A Robins Run West resident reported that her 2003 Pontiac was stolen sometime over the past several days.  It was entered NCIC and subsequently located. Complaints are pending.

Aug. 16: Police charged a 37 year old Pedricktown man with eluding and multiple motor vehicles offenses following an attempted traffic stop on Center Square Road and I-295. The operator fled the stop and was subsequently located at his residence a short time later where he was found claiming to be suffering from a medical condition. He was processed and released pending court.

Aug. 18: A W. Hedgerow Drive resident reported that someone broke out both rear view mirrors to their vehicle sometime overnight.

Aug. 20: While investigating a disturbance in the Fox Hound development, police arrested a 51 year old Logan woman for being a wanted person (NCIC) out of Delaware County, PA. She was processed, charged as a fugitive, and remanded to the Salem County Jail to await extradition.

Aug. 20: Representatives of Leslie Pools on Commodore Drive reported an ongoing internal theft of pool pumps and supplies. Detectives are investigating multiple persons of interest, and complaints are pending.

Aug. 21: While conducting a vehicle stop on I-295, officers learned that the operator, a 37 year old West Deptford man, was wanted (NCIC) out of the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office. He was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 22: A Hancock Street resident reported that her car was burglarized overnight and a Play Station 4 gaming system and two games were taken from within. The car was reportedly unlocked at the time of the incident.

Aug. 22: Police charged a 30 year old Vineland woman with the theft of silver dollars from a residence in the Country Crossings development. Service is pending.

Aug. 22: Police charged a 33 year old Logan man with credit card fraud following a family disturbance on Paulsboro Road. The man allegedly utilized a family member’s credit card to purchase various items on line valued in excess of $300. While investigating the incident, officers discovered that he had active warrants out of both Camden City and the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Dept.  He was charged and lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 24: Police charged a 20 year old Sicklerville man with possession of marijuana following a vehicle stop on I-295.  He was processed and released pending court.

Aug. 25: Police charged a 22 year old Camden man with simple assault following a disturbance at a production facility on High Hill Road.  He was processed and released pending court.

Aug. 25: While conducting a vehicle stop on Rt. 130, Officers learned that the operator, a 33 year old Philadelphia woman, was wanted (NCIC) out of Chester County, PA. She was arrested, charged as a fugitive, and lodged in the Salem County Jail to await extradition.

Aug. 26: A Pennsauken man reportedly was assaulted by a co-worker while at a business on High Hill Road. The accused, a 23 year old Camden man, was arrested, processed and released pending court.

Aug. 27: Police here have charged a 26 year old Carneys Point man, James Dugan, with multiple offenses, including eluding, DWI, and possession of a hypodermic needle following an attempted stop on I-295. The man initiated a pursuit after officers attempted to stop him for erratic driving and excessive speed. He eventually crashed his vehicle while exiting the highway at exit 15 in Greenwich Township. He was taken into custody where it was learned he fled due to having outstanding warrants and being an NCIC hit out of Salem County. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of $20,000 full cash bail.

Aug. 29: A Broomall, PA woman reported that she was assaulted by a man while attending a race at the Bridgeport Speedway. Police located the accused, a 33 year old Easton, PA man who indicated that he was assaulted as well. Both parties were advised of the citizen complaint procedure due to conflicting statements.

Aug. 31: Police investigated a burglary and theft from a warehouse on Berkeley Drive.

Aug. 31: Investigators charged a 31 year old Penns Grove woman with theft in connection with a theft investigation at a warehouse on Commodore Drive. She was processed and released pending court.

Aug. 31: Police charged a 30 year old Vineland woman with the theft of silver dollars from a residence in the Country Crossings development.  Service is pending.

Aug. 31: Police, acting on a tip of suspicious activity, located several marijuana plants on common ground located off Beckett Road. The person responsible has been identified and complaints are pending.

Sept. 1: Police charged a 61 year old Swedesboro man and a 59 year old Williamstown man with theft and conspiracy following an investigation at a warehouse on Commodore Drive. They were processed and released pending court.

Sept. 3: Police arrested a 23 year old Woodstown woman on multiple warrants out of the Mid-Salem Joint Municipal Court following a disturbance at the Wendy’s on Village Center Drive. She was processed and released on bail.

Sept. 3: Police charged an 18 year old Logan man with DWI following a crash investigation on Cedar Swamp Road.  He was processed and released pending court.

Sept. 4: Police charged a 49 year old Upper Darby, PA man with hindering apprehension following an assault investigation at a warehouse on Technology Drive. During the investigation, the accused provided false identifiers in an effort to conceal active warrants out of Burlington County. He was arrested, processed and remanded to the Burlington County Jail.

Sept. 5: Officers, investigating an unwanted persons complaint on Barker Avenue, arrested a 29 year old Logan woman on multiple warrants and being a fugitive (NCIC) out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department. She was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail.

Sept. 5: A Beckett Road resident reported that someone threw various food items at the front of their house sometime overnight.

Sept. 6: Police arrested a 24 year old Woodbury man on multiple warrants out of both Camden and Gloucester Counties following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail

Sept.7: Officers arrested a 23 year old Deepwater man on warrants out of both Pennsville and Logan Township following a Rt. 130 stop. He was turned over to Pennsville Police Department for processing.

Sept. 7: Police charged a 20 year old Woolwich man with possession of drug paraphernalia following a Paulsboro Road vehicle stop. He was processed and released pending court.

Sept. 8: A Penns Grove man reported that a co-worker threatened him and stole the tags from his vehicle following a business transaction that went awry. The tags were later recovered and citizen complaints may be pending.

Sept. 10: Police charged a 55 year old Logan man with theft, defiant trespassing, and possession of drug paraphernalia when he was observed loitering on a construction site on Rt. 130. He was processed and released pending court.

Sept. 10: Police investigated a shoplifting complaint at the WaWa on Center Square Road. The accused was identified, contacted and made restitution in lieu of charges.

Sept. 10:  Police charged a 35 year old West Deptford man with terroristic threats and harassment following a disturbance on Rt. 44. Bail was set at $20,000 and service is pending.
