Emilyanne English and Samuel Pisker of Mullica Hill graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston in its summer commencement.

Joe Kauffman of Woolwich Township, an employee for Horizon Services, received the Rising Star of Safety Award, a national award from the National Safety Council. He was selected from international entries and travelled to accept the award to Indianapolis, Indiana. The National Safety Council’s mission is to eliminate preventable deaths.
