Adrianna Cunning recently finished her second year in the Cadets 2 Drum Corps, based out of Allentown, PA.  Adrianna is a recent Kingsway graduate and daughter of Abigail and Dan Cunning of Woolwich. She is also one of the 2016 recipients of the Nathaniel Boerlin Scholarship. C2 earned first place in the 2016 DCA World Championship competition held in Rochester, NY on Sept. 4. With a score of 97.95 and an additional award for Best Percussion, C2 had its best year. Adrianna is a percussionist, specializing in the marimba. She is currently studying music at West Chester University. Along with Adrianna, fellow recent Kingsway graduates Nick Pino and Zach Stremmel, and current student Adeymi Ogunkami also performed in C2. The success of these Kingsway students was made possible by the support and guidance of the Kingsway Music Department’s directors Nick Kline and Joe Henderson.  Thanks to their dedication, students like these can excel in the arts and take music with them throughout their lives.
