Many parents and former scouts remember his dedication and kind spirit, warmth and compassion towards the scouts. They also remember him being the “Knot Tying” expert and many camping weekends at Camp Grice and Roosevelt.

Jim enjoyed watching the Alaskan shows, NCIS, and the History Channel. He was very knowledgeable on history and won all of the Trivial Pursuit Games in the past. He and his wife moved to Logan Township in 1988.
