Swede Talkers Toastmasters Announces New Meeting Dates

SWEDESBORO — SWEDE TALKERS Toastmasters is open to the public and will be changing their meeting nights to the second and fourth Wednesday, meeting at the Woolwich Fire House located at 1517 Kings Highway in Swedesboro. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. toastmaster

Toastmasters is part of an International, non-profit organization for individuals of all walks of life and ages to develop and improve their public speaking and leadership through club meetings, training seminars, leadership roles, and speech contests. They are part of a network of more than 292,000 members, in 14,350 clubs in 122 countries.

Statistical surveys on the subject of “fears” reveal that “fear of public speaking” leads the list for the vast majority of people, even above death and bankruptcy. Yet, other surveys that gauge successful people in every walk of life show that one of the key attributes successful people possess is the ability to persuade audiences with polished presentations.

You will develop better speaking and listening skills in a friendly environment, develop presentation skills and learn to think more clearly and quickly on your feet while enjoying others who have stories to share. You will also make new friends and have fun. Swede Talkers Toastmasters offers a friendly supportive environment with participants who attend for the same reasons of becoming a better communicator and leader.
