Children:

The GCLS Swedesboro Library celebrated the New Jersey Makers Day – “Olde Time Arts” on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Children, 4th grade and up, had a great time learning some traditional crafts. Children were able to sign up for one craft from a variety of choices:  There was rag rug weaving, felting, learning the spinning wheel, coil clay pots, decoupage greeting cards, woodworking, and mosaic turtles. Children will be continuing to take more classes so that each child will have at least one completed project.

This program was made possible by a New Jersey Makers Day grant. While funding was provided by the New Jersey State Library and the PSEG Foundation.
