“Caring and Sharing with Seniors” – Jan. 10 – 11 a.m. Caring and Sharing is a fun time of social activities:  puzzles, games, music, crafts, bingo, and more! We will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month from 11-12 pm. Call 856-467-0111 for more information

Adult Book Club – The adult book club will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 28. This club meets the last Tuesday of each month. January’s selection will be Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.

Make a Personalized Book Lamp (Adult craft) – Tuesday, Jan. 14 – 6 p.m. – Unleash your creativity decoupaging your own personalized lamp shade to compliment a book based lamp.  The lamp bases are made from recycled books.

Teen/Tween Drawing Club – Wednesday, Jan. 8 – 4:30 p.m. We meet once a month on the second Wednesdays of each month. If you’re committed to attending for 8 months of learning and drawing, and fun art projects, please register at www.gcls.org or call 856-467-1693. Space is limited!

Teen/Tween Book Club – Thursday, Jan. 9 – 7 p.m. Our teen/tween book club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. January’s selection will be By the Time You Read This I’ll Be Dead by Julie Anne Peters.

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Jan. 16 – 6:30 p.m. for the Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games.  Bring a friend and have a great time!

Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – If you love writing, need new ideas, like sharing ideas/stories/poems, and/or learning new writing techniques and types of writing – this club is for you.  Our new meeting date will be the second Mondays of each month. We will meet on Monday, Jan. 13 –4:30 p.m.

Teen Advisory Board – Join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Reading Buddy, work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Write reviews and/or create quarterly teen newsletters. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

Music with Grandfather Joe – Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. Snowdate will be the following Wednesday, Jan. 22. Bring your preschoolers to a fun sing-along of familiar and fun children’s tunes.

Amazing Math Labs (STEM) – Thursday, Jan. 2 – 7 p.m. – 4th through 6th graders are invited to a once-a month meeting to enjoy fun math activities.

FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog for a 15 minute time slot – This month’s date will be Monday, Jan. 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. Permission slips are required.

Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Jan. 7, 14, 21 & 28). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age.  Registration required.

Little Yogis – Little Yogis will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 22– 12 p.m. Please bring a water bottle and a beach-size towel.

Lunch with Miss Julie – On Wednesday, Jan. 22 – 12:30 p.m. Join Miss Julie for lunch – at 1:00 pm, stay for story time. Bring a bagged lunch.

Afternoon Story Time – Wednesday afternoons at 1 p.m. January’s dates are Jan. 8, 22, & 29 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays.  Baby Time will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2 & 16 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, and singing familiar songs and fingerplays. This month’s dates are Thursdays, Jan. 9 & 23 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Homework and Reading Buddies – Children interested in a homework or reading buddy during the 2012-2013 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens from our Teen Advisory Board assist younger children with homework and help them with different academic skills.
