Moods Presented Ag Society Marketing Award

moods webRichard and Joyce Mood, owners of Moods Farm Market in Mullica Hill, were presented with the New Jersey Agricultural Society’s Tony Russo Farmers Marketing Award on Feb. 5 at the New Jersey State Agricultural Convention in Atlantic City. The award honors members of the agricultural community for their innovative efforts to market New Jersey’s agricultural products.  The Moods have one of the oldest direct farm marketing operations in the state, starting in 1922.  Their pick-your-own operation includes a wide variety of fruits. They are innovators in direct marketing and their market is famous for its unique windmill, which is used in advertising to alert customers they have found the market.
