E-Books – Wednesday, March 5 – 11 a.m.

Basic Computer Skills – Monday, March 24 – 7 p.m.

“Caring and Sharing with Seniors” – Friday, March 14 – 11 a.m. Caring and Sharing is a fun time of social activities:  puzzles, games, music, crafts, bingo, and more! We will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month from 11-12 p.m. Call 856-467-0111 for more information

Adult Book Club – The adult book club will meet on Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month. March’s selection will be Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman by Elizabeth Buchan.

Make a Tree-disc Tag – Monday, March 247 p.m. This program is sponsored by the Swedesboro Shade Tree Commission. Children will stencil a tree tag, learn about the benefits of trees and how to identify them. Refreshments will be served. Please have your child wear old clothes. This class is limited to 25 students so please be sure each child is registered and registered separately.

Teen/Tween Drawing Club – Wednesday, March 12 – 4:30 p.m. We meet once a month on the second Wednesdays of each month. If you’re committed to attending for 8 months of learning and drawing, and fun art projects, please register at www.gcls.org or call 856-467-1693.  Space is limited!

Teen/Tween Book Club – Thursday, March 13 – 7 p.m. Our teen/tween book club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. March’s selection will be By the Time You Read This I’ll Be Dead—Julie Anne Peters

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, March 20 – 6:30 p.m. for the Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!

Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – If you love writing, need new ideas, like sharing ideas/stories/poems, and/or learning new writing techniques and types of writing – this club is for you. Writer’s meets on the second Mondays of each month. We will meet on Monday, March 104:30 p.m.

Teen Advisory Board – Join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Reading Buddy, work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Write reviews and/or create quarterly teen newsletters. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

Amazing Math Labs (STEM) – Thursday, March 67 p.m. – 4th through 6th graders are invited to a once-a month meeting to enjoy fun math activities.

FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog for a 15 minute time slot – This month’s dates will be Mondays, March 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. Permission slips are required.

Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (March 11, 18, & 25). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.

Little Yogis – Little Yogis will meet on Wednesday, March 2612 p.m. Please bring a water bottle and a beach-size towel.

Story Time – Wednesday story time hour has changed from 1 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. Please note this change. March’s dates are March 12, 19, & 26 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays.  Baby Time will be held on Thursdays, March 6 & 20 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s dates are Thursdays, March 13 & 27–10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Homework and Reading Buddies – Children interested in a homework or reading buddy during the 2012-2013 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens from our Teen Advisory Board assist younger children with homework and help them with different academic skills.
