Children’s Benefit Horse Show to include Alex’s Lemonade Stand, April 5

alexs lemonadeLOGAN TWP. — In an effort to join the battle against childhood cancer, the annual Children’s Benefit Horse Show will host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand as part of the festivities on Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township.

Over the course of the past 24 years, the Children’s Benefit Horse Show has been dedicated to making a difference for children, annually choosing a different charity to contribute to. In honor of the 25th anniversary show that runs from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, has been chosen as the beneficiary.

Lemonade will be sold from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday as part of the daytime session. Free parking and free admission make this a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to spend time together making a difference.

The Children’s Benefit Horse Show will feature more than 100 horses and ponies of varying breeds including Morgans, American Saddlebreds, Friesians, and Hackney Ponies. There will be classes for English and Western riding along with classes where the horses and ponies are driven.

Additionally, there will be a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Saddlebred Rescue and Forever Morgans. For more information, visit: www.upha15.com.
