Author Visit- Patti Sheehy, The Boy Who Said No, Wednesday, Aug. 6, 7 p.m. Book signing sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Make & Take Button Pin- Thursday, Aug. 14, 7 p.m. All supplies provided. Feel free to bring a picture of a loved one for your personalized pin. Large and small buttons available!

Knit & Stitch- Thursdays, Aug. 14 & 28, 1-3 p.m. Supplies provided to beginners. Teens welcome too!

Calligraphy Monthly Project – Tuesday, Aug. 5, Lettering & Paper Weaving, 7-8:30 p.m. Please register. Limited to 15 experienced. Larger meeting room reserved for program.

Build a Better Smoothie- Wednesday, Aug. 13, 7 p.m. Provided by Luanne Hughes, Rutgers Cooperative Extension.

Summer Reading Sign-Ups – Three Choices: Family Reader, Independent Reader and Teen (Weekly Prizes!) Sign-up online at www.gcls.org.

End of Summer Reading Party– Friday, Aug. 1, 11 a.m. Ages 8 and under. Crafts, Games, Prizes and Make Your Own Sundae!

Make & Take Recycled Wind Chimes Family Craft – Saturday, Aug. 2, anytime between 11-12:30 p.m. Bring some bottle caps to make a cool summer mobile. We will have materials available.

Minecraft Mania! – Thursday, Aug. 14, 2-3:30 p.m. Ages 6-12. Bring a green t-shirt to make a creeper shirt. Make a “Steve” head and sword. Bring your own device (iPad, iPhone, tablets, laptop) with an account already set up to participate in our building challenge. Snacks will be served.

FURever as Friends Reading Program – Tuesdays, Aug. 5 & 19, 6:30–7:30 p.m. Please sign up for 10-minute time slot. One-time permission slip required.

Lego Night – Tuesday, Aug. 26, 6:30–7:30 p.m. All ages.

Teen/Tween Gaming Challenge! 8-week Gaming Tournament. Winner receives a $25 gift card.
