What Did The Dragons Do After Kingsway (Part II)

kingsway dragonsA little over a year ago, in an attempt to reconnect with Kingsway graduates of the past, we wrote about the exploits of former Dragons, and we are continuing this series.
We look to highlight what they did collegiately as well as post-collegiately. Their professional exploits may also be indicated. Hopefully, it allows the local community to see what became of our former athletic greats.
Skyler Lindsey- An All-conference diver for the Dragons as well as a top high jumper for the spring track team, she still holds the diving school record at Kingsway and holds a variety of other swimming and track relay records. After her time at Rowan University, she has moved into the coaching ranks where she has made quite an impact in the diving world. Along, with coaching at the Wenonah Swim Club, she also has coached at GCIT, Delsea, and Kingsway. Last winter at Kingsway, she coached current Dragon Chad Shire to a berth at the state championships. She has become recognized as one of the top diving coaches in southern New Jersey.
Dorien Bryant- The former football star and track state champion graduated from Kingsway in 2003. While at Kingsway, he led Kingsway to the 2001 South Jersey title in football and earned All-American honors. He then attended Purdue University where he became one of the most decorated wide receivers in Purdue and Big Ten history. He still holds the Purdue records for most receiving yards in a career and the most all-purpose yards. He briefly was signed as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brittany Dipper- One of the greatest all-around athletes to ever come out of Kingsway, she was a star in field hockey and lacrosse. In lacrosse, she was a four-time All-South Jersey selection, while also earning All-State honors in field hockey. Moving on to the the University of Maryland, she was amazing. In lacrosse, she was the national Goalie of the Year award winner as well as a multiple All-American designee. She won four ACC titles and led her team to the 2010 National Championship game. In field hockey, she won a national championship in 2008. She currently is the assistant lacrosse coach at Elon University, after two years as the assistant coach and interim head coach at Stetson University.
Brandon Becker- While at Kingsway, Becker was a state champion as well as a Beast of the East champ. Becker then starred at the University of Indiana where he was a three-time All-American and finished sixth all-time in career wins (119) at Indiana. He then went on to work as an assistant coach at Rutgers University, helping them set an all-time record for wins in a season, as well as the University of Indiana. He recently has taken his athletic talents into the realm of Mixed Martial Arts fighting, where he already has established himself as one of the top up-and-coming talents in the sport.
