Mike Chadwick of Mullica Hill was a member of the The Riding On Insulin Endurance Team, a team of athletes with Type 1 Diabetes, that participated in the IRONMAN Wisconsin on Sept. 13.  The IRONMAN contest consisted of a 140.6-mile race that included a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike, and a 26.2-mile run that the athletes had 17 hours to complete. He finished his swim in 1:23:17; bike in 5:48:59; run in 4:50:46; overall 12:26:25. The team’s goal was to deliver a positive message of hope and inspiration to people living with T1D, and answer questions about exercise as a means of preventing common complications of the chronic autoimmune disease.

Adrianna Cunning of Woolwich Township, a senior at Kingsway Regional High School, earned a position in the Cadets2 Drum and Bugle Corps based in Allentown, PA this summer.  The Cadets2 is a competitive, weekend-only drum and bugle corps. Cunning traveled throughout the mid-Atlantic region each weekend rehearsing and performing in various competitions and parades. The Cadets2 finished their season over Labor Day weekend when they competed in the Drum Corps Associations Championships in Rochester, NY. Cadets2 finished in second place, with a score of 96.33. This was the highest score ever earned by the Cadets2. Cunning, a percussionist, will compete with the Kingsway Marching Band this Fall. She looks forward to continuing her education in Music.

Kelly Lupton of Swedesboro, riding at the NJ State 4H Championship Horse show in August, won third place in the Senior Division Dressage Intro Test A, riding her leopard appaloosa, Poker Face. She was riding for Salem County 4-H out of Eddis Farm in Woodstown. She is the daughter of Gwen Lupton-Lemon and Mike Lemon and brother Hayden of Swedesboro. Proud grandparents are John and Allene Kelly from Swedesboro.

Megan Antonelli Pangburn has joined the Wisdom Antonelli Financial Group located at 69 N. Main St. in Mullica Hill, an Independent Firm, as a Financial Advisor. Megan will focus her time on helping her contemporaries effectively manage the dual goals of accumulating assets for their retirement while providing for their children’s educational funding. Pangburn has completed the coursework and examinations required to receive her Series 7 General Securities, Series 66 Registered Investment Advisor Representative/Uniform Combined State Law and New Jersey Life and Health insurance licenses. Pangburn joins a team of financial planning professionals with 50 years of combined experience. The team includes Karen A. Wisdom, a Certified Financial Planner® professional, and Phyllis A. Antonelli, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®.
