logan policeDec. 1: Police charged a 45 year old Swedesboro man with theft and receiving stolen property after he was found in possession of an iPhone 5 that was reported stolen from a Blackwood resident while working on Sharptown Road. The accused was processed and released pending court.

Dec. 1: Police investigated the theft of a Dell tablet from a business on Sharptown Road. Company representatives estimated the value of the computer at $1,100.

Dec. 2: Officers charged a 55 year old Logan man with DWI and other motor vehicle offenses following a vehicle stop on Nortonville Road. He was processed and released pending c court.

Dec. 2: A Camden woman reported that someone entered her vehicle while it was parked on Arlington Blvd. and removed her wallet and a Garmin Nuvi GPS device.

Dec. 5: Police investigated two separate incidents of large landscaping rocks being thrown at houses in the Greenfields development.  A glass storm door and a bay window were broken out causing extensive damage.

Dec. 5: Officers, responding to an unwanted person complaint at the Village Pub, arrested a 27 year old Swedesboro man on an outstanding warrant out of Glassboro. He was processed and released on his own recognizance.

Dec. 5: Police arrested a 30 year old Carneys Point man on outstanding warrants following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road.  He was lodged in the Salem County Jail in default.

Dec. 6: Police arrested a 24 year old Carneys Point man on an outstanding $10,000 warrant out of Carneys Point Police Department. He was processed and turned over to Carneys Point Police Department.

Dec. 7: Representatives of AT& T reported the theft of 72 feet of copper wire from a cell tower off Center Square Road. The replacement and damage costs were estimated in excess of $1,000. Police are reviewing surveillance footage of the area in an effort to identify the person responsible.

Dec. 8: Police charged two brothers, Abdul and Bilaal Ross, with theft following an investigation at Amazon on Center Square Road. The brothers, both of Philadelphia, stole gift cards valued at $2,950 while working at the facility. They were processed and released pending court.

Dec. 10: Police investigated shoplifting complaint at the ACME in which a white female left the store with six cans of baby formula and fled in a beige Ford pickup with PA tags. The stolen items were valued at $191.

Dec. 11: A Logan woman reported that her 2002 Oldsmobile was burglarized while it was parked at her place of employment on Birch Creek Road.  The victim reported that a Coach handbag containing her wallet, a debit card, and various personal identifiers were stolen from within.

Dec. 11: Officers charged a 24 year old Marcus Hook, PA man with theft after he was discovered opening packages while working for UPS on Birch Creek Road and stealing the contents. He was processed and released pending court.

Dec. 12: A Logan man reported that someone stole a check from his book, and cashed it in the amount of $1,500. A second check, from a separate account, was also reported stolen and cashed for $2,000 a few days later. Detectives have identified a person of interest, and complaints are pending.

Dec. 13: Police investigated the theft of copper from a facility on Rt. 322. The material was valued at $1,500.
