Adults:

Basic Introduction to Calligraphy – Continuing from January, the additional classes will be held on Tuesdays, Feb. 9 & 16 – 6:30 p.m. Learn basic calligraphy that you can use for various projects such as invitations and rubber stamped cards. Plan on attending all classes. Space is limited. Must be registered.

Creative Scarf Tying – Join Ms. Dianne and learn creative ways to tie your scarves and create a new look – Wednesday, Feb. 10 – 6:30 p.m.

Adult Book Club – Join us for our adult book club that meets on the last Tuesday of each month. This month’s selection will be The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell. February’s date is Tuesday, Feb. 23 – 7 p.m.

Tween/Teens:

Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – Monday, Feb. 8 – 7 p.m. If you love writing, need new ideas, like sharing ideas/stories/poems, and/or learning new writing techniques and types of writing – this club is for you. Your writing could be part of our new quarterly teen/tween literary magazine, Teen Express.  Call 856-467-0111 for more information.

Teen/Tween Book Club – Thursday, Feb. 11 – 7 p.m.  Join our fun discussion group and read great selections!  Bring a friend.

Coding – Learn beginning Computer Coding Skills with Scratch – Monday, Feb. 15 – 4 p.m. Space is limited. Please register.

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Feb. 18 – 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!

Anime ClubMonday, Feb. 22 – 4:30 p.m. Enjoy like-minded lovers of Anime and Manga.  View an Anime movie, play Yugioh and Pokémon, trade cards, and/or draw Manga characters. Feel free to dress in character. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.

Teen Time – Check out flyers and online calendar for scheduled teen times. Teen Times is a time for teens to gather in the meeting room and play music, eat snacks they have bought, use the laptops, dance, or just hang out.

Teen Advisory Board – We welcome teens to join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Literacy Buddy and work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Learn to write reviews and create a quarterly teen newsletter. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

Toddlers & Babies:

Tuesday Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! Hear stories, sing songs, make a craft!  We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Feb. 9, 16, & 23). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.

Wednesday Story Time – Can’t make it on Tuesdays – you’re in luck, join the fun Wednesday morning story times. Wednesday morning story time meets at 10:30 a.m. February’s dates are Feb. 10, 17, & 24, 2016 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s date is Thursday, Feb. 11– 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Literacy Buddies – The Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children learning English, phonics and reading skills, and math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a literacy buddy during the 2013-2014 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a literacy buddy, please contact the library.
