Logan’s Philly Pretzel Factory has new owners

philly pretzel webLOGAN TWP. — Michael and Kaitlyn Colleluori of Woolwich are the new owners of the Philly Pretzel Factory in Logan Township. Michael said the idea for purchasing the franchise came unexpectedly.

“We believe in the brand and product and felt there is plenty of opportunity for growth within the Pureland Industrial Park in Logan Township and with studies showing Woolwich Township being one of the fastest growing towns in South Jersey,” Michael said.

The husband and wife team have big plans for the future of their business and are making changes to better serve their customers’ Philly Pretzel Factory experience in Logan Township.

They plan to support the Kingsway Youth Lacrosse Program this spring as well as various events in the community, including a movie night this upcoming summer.

“We are excited about this new venture,” Kaitlyn said. “Living here most of my life and being a teacher in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District will definitely help when it comes to having our location become more involved with the local community.”

While Michael and Kaitlyn are involved with the store’s day-to-day operation, they rely heavily on their employees to make the business successful. The couple foresees opening additional locations in the future.

The menu offers traditional Philly style pretzels as well as cinnamon twists, mini pretzels, rivets, pretzel dogs and cheese steak pretzels. The pretzels are prepared and hand twisted daily and baked fresh all day. The store also sells their own brand of mustard and the pretzels themselves are made from a proprietary blend of flour.

As a way to thank customers, the store will host a “Customer Appreciation Day”

on the third Saturday of each month. Other ideas are sponsoring a Swedesboro-Woolwich “Movie Night” and other fun events throughout the year.

“The key drivers for our success will be great product, great customer service and a clean store. Additionally, we will continue to develop relationships and getting involved in the community,” Michael said.

“Our location is looking forward to working with local companies, groups for fundraising activities and is willing to make donations for events and charities.” The store is located in the Shoppes at Pureland at 525 Beckett Rd Unit 5, Swedesboro, NJ 08085, just off exit 11 on 295 South.
