SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY
GIANNA EMMETT, daughter of Richard and Marianna Emmett of Woolwich Township.
School Activities: Fall Varsity Cheerleading, National Honor Society, World Language National Honor Society, Student Council Executive Board, Newspaper Features Editor, Habitat for Humanity Club President, and World Wildlife Foundation Club Fundraising Chairperson.
Out of School Activities: Year-round All-Star Cheerleading program and South Jersey Storm.
Honors/Awards: STEM program, AP Scholar, and Superintendent’s List.
Future Plans: Gianna would like to attend either the University of the Sciences or University of Pittsburgh to enroll in their six-year pharmacy programs and graduate with a doctorate degree in Pharmacy. Then, she plans to travel and work in sales.
ANNA KJELLSON, daughter of Carl and Sylvia Kjellson of Woolwich Township.
School Activities: National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, World Language National Honor Society, Play and Musical, Mock Trial, Habitat for Humanity, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, World Wildlife Foundation Club, and Chemistry Club.
Out of School Activities: Youth Group, volunteers with Swedesboro-Woolwich Little Theater, crocheting, and playing the ukulele.
Honors/Awards: NMSQT Commended Student, AP Scholar, and STEM program.
Future Plans: Anna would like to attend either Gordon College or TCNJ for Secondary Education and Chemistry. She hopes to become a high school teacher and revolutionize education (if she has time).
