WEST DEPTFORD — Senate President Steve Sweeney, Assembly Deputy Speaker John Burzichelli, and Assemblyman Adam Taliaferro encourage Third Legislative District residents to visit a mobile office location at the Swedesboro Public Library, 1442 Kings Highway on Tuesday, May 10, from 12 p.m. to 3 p. m.
“Our mobile offices are a chance to provide greater accessibility to our residents in the convenience of their neighborhood and surrounding area,” said Sweeney. “Residents contact our legislative offices on a daily basis for assistance in communicating with a state department, request certification for their notary public application, and share comments about important pending state legislation.”
The mobile office is hosted by experienced constituent services staff members who are available to assist residents with issues such as unemployment claim difficulties, energy assistance programs, professional licensing matters, consumer complaints, or any matter with a state agency.
“The Third District traveling offices provide an opportunity to seek assistance in person on matters related to the State of New Jersey,” added Burzichelli. “Residents can address these concerns, pick up resource information on various state programs, and learn more about our offices.”
“We look forward to hosting a mobile office visit at the Swedesboro Public Library as we continue to strengthen our services and accessibility to Third District residents,” said Taliaferro. “Individuals can stop by to visit at any time during our office hours to request assistance with a state agency or share concerns about a piece of legislation.”
The Swedesboro visit will highlight resources for families, including travel information, activity books for children, and information about recreational activities. Copies of this year’s Property Tax Reimbursement program applications for first time applicants (also known as the “Senior Freeze”) will also be available for residents to pick up.
The deadline to apply for the Property Tax Reimbursement program is June 1.
