SWEDESBORO – Registration is now open for the first ever Vacation Bible School “Barnyard Roundup” at Trinity Episcopal Church in Swedesboro. The event is being held on Sunday, Aug. 7 through Thursday, Aug. 11.
Things will kick off on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a picnic, farm animals, games and an introduction to our lessons for the week. On Monday through Thursday, the program will start at 6 p.m. and finish at 8:30 p.m. in Trinity’s Parish Hall. A snack will be served during this time.
Trinity is very excited to be offering VBS to the community this year. There is no cost to attend but an offering will be taken up during the week to support their mission outreach project. This will follow the farm animal theme and be used to purchase animals through Heifer International to help some of the poorest countries in the world.
We invite all children from three years up through 5th grade to participate. A nursery will be available for our helpers who have small ones under three years of age.
Please join in and gather together to learn from God’s Word. Barnyard Roundup VBS will prove to be a “farm-tastic” week where kids learn how Jesus cares, provides and leads us.
He gathers us together now and forever, no matter what. Jesus’ love will be brought to life through Bible stories, crafts, music and games.
To register, please call the church office at 856-467-1227 or email Ann Blackman at firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited, please register soon.
See you at “Barnyard Roundup” in August and bring a friend.
