Mullica Hill Kicks Off Fall Activities

mhsecond-webMULLICA HILL – The Mullica Hill Merchants Association will kick off Fall with their annual Antique Auto Show, popular Concert On The Hill, and Rode’s BBQ on Sept. 10.

The morning will feature the third annual Antique Auto Show. The show will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the parking lot behind Amazing Grace Book Store.

For the third straight year the association will be featuring THE CONCERT ON THE HILL. They are proud to welcome back by request Philadelphia’s own Mike and Shanna. Their performance starts at 4 p.m.

They will be playing through the dinner hour (until 6:30) as visitors who will be strolling through  town enjoying the sidewalk and food vendors, as well as artists such as Karen Watson, owner of Party Paint, who will be showcasing her talent of face painting (and a little bit of sparkle). Look for her on the front porch of Sisters at 39 S. Main Street.

The final big event of the day will feature the 5th annual World Famous Rode’s Chicken BBQ. As in previous years, the dinner will be located in the rear of Farmhouse Design and Papernut located at 41 S. Main Street.

The tickets are $15 and include a half chicken, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, dinner roll and ice tea or lemonade. The backdrop of the charming old barn and the sounds of guitarists and vocalists Mike and Shanna will surely make the evening as charming as it has been for the past five years.

Tickets are available at Farmhouse Design, French Nest and Papernut. They will also be available at Sisters and Old Mill.
