Friends School Mullica Hill Announces Two New Board Members

friends-board-webMULLICA HILL — Friends School Mullica Hill, a PreK3 to 8th Grade independent Quaker school in Gloucester County, has announced that Elizabeth Morton and Victoria Kuhn will be joining its board of trustees.

Morton brings decades of administrative educational leadership experience. Most recently, she retired as Head of School from The Pen Ryn School in 2016 and also served as Principal at St. Ignatius of Antioch from 2004-2007.

She has long history of community service and professional excellence. Morton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education from Holy Family University and a Master’s degree in Supervision and Curriculum from St. Joseph’s University.

Kuhn joins the board with a distinguished record of legal experience and public service. As the current Director in the Office of Labor Relations at the New Jersey Department of Corrections in Trenton, she supervises the Office of Labor Relations, the Equal Employment Division and the Legal Support Unit.

She is formerly a Counsel to Rowan University and Assistant Chief to the Department of Corrections and State Police. Kuhn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Pre-Medicine from Drew University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Board of Trustees Members Alice Waddington and Bill Schmidt will be moving to Board Emeritus status after 12 years each of active, engaged service. They have been given the Kramme Award for their distinguished commitment to the school.

Board Member Dorothy Kramme has officially retired from the Board after serving Friends School Mullica Hill for over 40 years in many different capacities. Kramme has been a major financial supporter of the school, including providing funding for the addition of a new roof to the gymnasium which now bears her name.

An award for exceptional service to the school was created in her honor, called the Kramme Award. In 2015, she was given the Founder’s Award for her many years of service and dedication.
