Letter to the EditorTo The Editor:

I accuse Governor Christie and every legislator in Trenton who voted  for this “transgender law” affecting the public school system of betraying the children of New Jersey.  The teen years are tough enough without supposedly responsible adults making it even more confusing The act of transgendering is not based on anything but an emotion.  There is no physical or medical basis for it.  It appears, at least for our Governor and Legislature that the moral order or “the laws of nature and nature’s God,” have little or no meaning anymore.

It’s almost amusing (but it’s not) that people of faith have been accused for years of “imposing their religious views” on others, and God forbid that we should have religious views expressed in public schools.  However, the liberal society’s ever changing standards and demands can be imposed by law on parents, students, teachers, administrators, coaches, etc. regardless of their sincerely held religious beliefs.  What, then, is their option.

Meanwhile, how are we doing with reading, writing, arithmetic and science?  Not too well, when measured against foreign competitors like Singapore who also do it at a much lower cost.
