LOGAN TWP. — The Gloucester County Equestrian DREAM Park is excited to invite residents to attend the various dog shows that will be hosted in the main arena over the span of the month of February.
Dog agility is a popular sport in which a handler directs a dog through a variety of obstacles such as a tunnel, teeter-totter, tire jump, weave poles, pause table, and standard jumps. During competitive agility events, handlers attempt to navigate dogs through a course as quickly and as accurately as they can.
These shows are free to spectate and will take place over the following days:
South Jersey Agility Club – Feb. 2-4; Bayshore Agility Club – Feb. 16-18; Delaware County Dog Club – Feb. 24-25.
All shows will take place in the Main Arena at 400 Route 130 South in Logan Township starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, “Dogs are our best friends. These agility courses show the dedication and trust shared between owner and pet and just how talented and smart our furry companions are.”
