SCHEDULE FOR KING’S THINGS FOOD DONATION PREP

SWEDESBORO – This year as in the past, King’s Things is seeking help to sort, pack and distribute food for their holiday meal donations.

King’s Things Schedule: Monday, Dec. 17 – Sorting 6 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 18 – Buying 1 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 19 – Packing 6 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 20 – Gift sorting; Saturday, Dec. 22 – Delivery 8:30 a.m.

The location is at St. Clare’s Hall, 140 Broad Street in Swedesboro.

About this time every year a Christmas Classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life” is aired. In this Frank Capra Classic with Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed and many more, the hero is saved by an Angel by the name of Clarence.

At King’s Things it has been a wonderful year and wonderful life, and we have had the aid of several of their own angels. They experience so many challenges in the day to day operations of King’s Things, but the volunteers at King’s Things and the many people in the greater Swedesboro area got them through.

This Christmas as in the past years several Angels came to the aid.  Angels named Fr. Grover, Bob, Liz, Carol, Mary Ann, Meredith, Bill, Tom, Alene, Barb, Wendy, Auggie and new Angel Caitlyn, and the many others that I haven’t mentioned. They turned a rather bleak year into an outstanding one.
