2nd Woolwich man arrested on child pornography charges

WOODBURY — According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, Eugenio Dalessandro, 50, of Woolwich Township, was arrested on July 24 on several different child pornography charges.
Dalessandro was charged with one count of distribution of child pornography (2nd Degree), one count of possession of child pornography (2nd Degree), one count of making child pornography available for download by a file sharing program (1st Degree), one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine (2nd Degree), one count possession of methamphetamine (3rd Degree), and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia (DP), Gloucester County Prosecutor Charles Fiore announced. 
On Thursday, July 18, detectives from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office (GCPO) High-Tech Crimes Unit initiated an investigation into an IP address sharing files of child pornography via the BitTorrent file sharing network. The investigation identified Dalessandro, who resides on Dunlin Court, Woolwich Township, as a suspect in possessing and distributing child pornography.
On July 24, Investigators executed a search warrant at Dalessandro’s residence, and he was subsequently arrested. Investigators conducted a search of Dalessandro’s computers and digital media and located child pornography.
A computer monitor was discovered to be actively displaying videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children at the time of the search warrant execution. A quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were also located in, and seized from, Dalessandro’s residence. 

On july 10, Kyle G. Gumpert, 21, who lived on Copper Road in Woolwich Township, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography, Gloucester County Prosecutor Charles Fiore stated.

On Tuesday, June 25, detectives from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office (GCPO) High-Tech Crimes Unit received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) concerning the possession of child pornography via Microsoft Skype Media Storage. The investigation identified Gumpert as a suspect in possessing child pornography.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Gumpert’s residence, and he was subsequently arrested.  Investigators conducted a search of Gumpert’s computers and digital media and located child pornography. Gumpert later admitted to possessing images depicting the sexual exploitation of children.

Dalessandro was transported to the Woolwich Township Police Department, where he was processed and subsequently lodged in the Salem County Jail on the strength of a complaint-warrant, pending a detention hearing. 

Gumpert was transported to the Woolwich Township Police Department, where he was processed and subsequently released on a complaint-summons, pending a Central Judicial Processing hearing.
Detectives from the GCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit were assisted by the GCPO Entry Team, New Jersey State Police Digital Technology Investigations Unit, New Jersey State Police Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory, New Jersey State Police Hazardous Materials Unit, GCPO Crime Scene Unit, GCPO Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Taskforce, and the Woolwich Township Police Department. 
The prosecutor’s office stressed that despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of their rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State Law.
