East Greenwich Open Shred Event, Oct. 19

MICKLETON — Reduce clutter – clean out and purge your personal records. Protect yourself from identity theft while being green by taking part in East Greenwich Open Shred Event on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Municipal Building, 159 Democrat Road, Mickleton.

Bring your bags and boxes of paper to be shredded. An experienced operator form DocuVault will move the disposal bins to a highly secure, mobile shredding unit where your confidential material will be destroyed as you watch. One hundred percent of the shredded paper is recycled..

Only paper from residents will be accepted, no businesses. Please, no plastic bags or metal including 3-ring binders and binder clips. Staples and paper clips are accepted.

Electronics will also be accepted for recycling but no televisions larger than 60 inch.
