Sept. 1: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 322. Upon approaching the driver, officers detected an odor of alcohol, as well as small package of Heroin on the driver’s lap. As the driver exited for field sobriety tests, a second small package of Heroin was observed on the seat. After investigating the stop, the 40-year-old male from Havertown, PA was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, and Possession of Heroin. He was released to a friend pending court.

Sept. 3: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on High Hill Road. Upon speaking with the juvenile driver, officers observed containers of Marijuana on the center console. Upon searching the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was also located. The juvenile driver was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as motor vehicle offenses. He was released to a family member pending juvenile court.

Sept. 3: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Commerce Blvd. While speaking with the occupants, an odor of Marijuana was coming from the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, the passenger, a 28-year-old male from Penns Grove, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and released with a court date.

Sept. 7: Officers responded to the Logan Woods Development for a Criminal

Mischief report. It was reported that several vehicles within the development were “keyed” with profanity. Damage to these vehicles is in excess of $1,000. A juvenile suspect has been identified, and the matter was handled accordingly.

Sept. 7: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at 2100 Center Square Road. The driver of the vehicle provided his personal information because he did not have a license in his possession. The driver Sept. 11, officers investigated further into this driver, and learned his true identity. The driver, a 48-year-old Newark, DE man was taken into custody for Providing False Information and received several more motor vehicle summonses including Driving While Suspended.

Sept. 8: Officers were dispatched to Wendy’s on Village Center Drive for a Theft of a credit card report. Officers were advised that after the caller exited the drive-thru window, his credit card was not returned by the employee. Upon the caller’s return to Wendy’s, the employee was longer on location. This matter was turned over to the Detective Unit.

Sept. 8: Officers responded to the Bridgeport area for reports of Criminal Mischief. It was reported that individuals poured a substance on several vehicles along Main Street. Juvenile suspects were identified, and the matter was handled accordingly.

Sept. 12: Officers responded to a Bridgeport residence for a Theft report. It was reported to officers that while a friend was at the residence, his bicycle was stolen. The bicycle is a black Schwinn valued at $144.

Sept. 14: Officers responded to a construction site on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported to officers that sometime overnight, someone entered the site and stole a Kubota tractor, valued at $30,000. This matter was forwarded to the Detective Unit.

Sept. 16: Officers responded to Royal Ingredients on Sharptown Road for a Theft report. It was reported that individuals removed 16 tires and rims from several trailers that are parked on the lot. Total value of the theft exceeds $11,000. This matter was forwarded to the Detective Unit.

Sept. 18: Officers responded to Coast Global Corporation on Pedricktown Road for a Criminal Mischief report. Officers were advised that sometime over the weekend, someone punctured holes in several tires and cut airlines to several trailers on their lot. Approximate value of the damage is $3,100.

Sept. 19: Officers responded to the Hampton Inn on Pureland Drive for a Theft report. Officers were advised that someone entered an employee’s work vehicle overnight, removing a Samsung tablet ($300), $500 cash and Arcadia work boots ($150).

Sept. 19: Officers responded to a High Hill Road residence for a possible Theft report. It was reported that someone entered several vehicles overnight, however, nothing was reported missing at this time.

Sept. 19: Officers responded to a High Hill Road residence for a Theft report. It was reported that someone entered the property overnight and removed a Polaris ATV/motorcycle valued at approx. $1,000.

Sept. 20: Officers took a report for Theft from a Bridgeport resident. It was reported that someone stole Wi-Fi boosters from their mailbox. These boosters are valued at approx. $170.

Sept. 20: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pedricktown Road. Upon speaking with the occupants, it was learned that one of the passengers had active warrants for his arrest. Upon his arrest, the 34-year-old Logan Township resident had in his possession a hypodermic needle, and several packages of CDS that contained suspected Heroin. The male was charged with Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was released pending court. He was also released on his warrants with new court dates.

Sept. 20: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 130. Upon speaking with the occupants, officers detected an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the arrest of a 34-year-old from Wilmington, DE. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana and released with a court date.

Sept. 22: Officers responded to the DREAM Park on Rt. 130 for a Theft report. It was reported to officers that someone entered a horse trailer and stole horse riding equipment valued at approx. $800.

Sept. 23: Officers responded to the Hidden Creek development for a Burglary/Theft report. The resident advised someone entered their vehicle and removed a wallet containing personal identification and credit cards. The suspect then used the credit cards at several different locations. This incident was forwarded to the Detective Unit.

Sept. 23: Officers observed a suspicious vehicle at the Township Line Park that was occupied by several individuals. As Officers approached the vehicle, they smelled the odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. After speaking with the occupants, and searching the vehicle, Officers located Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver, a 25-year-old female from Tabernacle was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released pending court. The passenger, a 24-year-old male from Woolwich was found to have several outstanding warrants. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Sept. 23: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road near School Lane. After officers noticed a smell of Marijuana, they continued investigating and searched the vehicle. This search led to the arrest of Ivan Gonzalez, a 21-year-old Logan Township resident. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana in a School Zone, Possession with Intent to Distribute in a School Zone and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (scale). Gonzalez was released on a summons pending court.

Sept. 27: Officers responded to an ambulance call at Taylor Farms on Heron Drive. After medical treatment was refused, police further spoke with the subject. This encounter led Officers to arrest the 38-year-old Upper Darby man for Possession of Marijuana. He was processed and released with a court date.

Sept. 27: Officer responded to Coast Global on Berkeley Drive for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that several vehicles had headlights and windows damaged, estimating the damage at $2,000.

Sept. 27: Officers responded to Sears on Center Square Road for a Burglary/Theft report. It was reported to Officers that someone broke the window to his vehicle, and stole several tools, valued at approximately $250.

Sept. 30: Officers responded to an Asbury Station Road residence for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported to Officers that someone damaged their mailbox by using a blunt object to strike it. Damage is valued at approx. $25.
