Jan. 3:  While Officers were on patrol, they observed a motor vehicle that was reported stolen from Camden. Officers stopped the vehicle in the Wawa parking lot on Center Square Rd. and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Camden male, Julio Xol. He was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Unlawful Taking of Means of Conveyance. He was processed and released pending a future court date.

Jan. 4: Officers responded to UPS on Birch Creek Rd. for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported to Officers that someone damaged all four of the victim’s tires on their vehicle. Someone also damaged the side view mirrors of the vehicle. Total value in damage is estimated at $1,200.

Jan. 6: Officers responded to UPS on Birch Creek Rd. for a Theft report. It was reported to officers that the victim had his iPhone XR stolen from the area of the security desk. The value of the phone is estimated at $900.

Jan. 16: Officers responded to Center Square Rd. at the I-295 Overpass for a motor vehicle crash. While investigating the crash, officers arrested one of the drivers for Driving Under the Influence. The 40-year-old male from New Castle, DE was processed and released to a family member pending court.

Jan. 20: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Rd. After detecting the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, officers searched the interior and found several containers of marijuana. After searching, officers arrested the 36-year-old male from Camden. He was processed and charged with Possession of Marijuana. He was released pending a future court date.

Jan. 22: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Birch Creek Rd. After gathering documents, it was learned that the driver, a 26-year-old male from Wilmington, DE had an NCIC warrant from the New Castle County Police Dept. in Delaware. Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of marijuana. The passenger, a 43-year-old male from Wilmington, DE, was also found to have multiple warrants. The driver was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice, and Possession of

Marijuana. He was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail. The passenger was processed and lodged in the Atlantic County Jail.

Jan. 22: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Rd. for a shoplifting complaint that occurred on Jan. 18. It was reported to officers that a black male entered the store, placed several cases of Monster Energy drinks and snacks in the cart, and left the store without paying. Estimated value of the items stolen is $216.

Jan. 26: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Rd. at the I-295 overpass. While conducting the stop, officers observed marijuana in plain view. The driver, a 51-year-old male from Chester, PA was placed under arrest. It was also learned that he had a warrant for his arrest from Carney’s Point. The male was processed and charged with Possession of Marijuana. He was released on a summons with a future court date. He was also released on his warrant with a

future court date.

Jan. 26: Officers conducted a motor vehicle on Heron Dr. While conducting the stop, officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, the driver, 26-year-old Woolwich resident Dimitri Sisco, became uncooperative and disorderly during this incident. After several warnings to cease his behavior in front of other pedestrians and employees of nearby businesses, he was placed under arrest. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct and released on a summons with a pending court date.
