GIBBSTOWN CHIRO FOOD DRIVE STILL ON

GIBBSTOWN — Dr. Blaise K. Glodowski was going to have to cancel his annual food drive for the first time in 32 years because of Covid-19. But with so many people losing their jobs or having their hours cut back, people desperately need food to feed their families.

So, he decided to do something for those in need and came up with another idea that will still be following CDC protocol and raise food for local food banks. His office will be a drop-off site from Nov.1 thru Nov. 25. Food will be weighed, and door prizes and gifts will be given out to those who bring the most amount of food by weight as an extra little bonus to make things a little bit more fun and enjoyable.

A scale will be placed right inside the building and can be brought outside to make it more convenient for people. Anyone that enters the building must wear a mask and their temperature will be taken.

Office hours for drop food drop-offs are Mon., Wed., and Fri. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. till 12 noon. For questions or to schedule a drop call (856) 423-3899.

The top 10 needs of food banks are: peanut butter and jelly, pasta, spaghetti sauce, pancake mix, syrup, cereal, canned meats, tuna, juice, and canned stews.
