Know Your History with Mr. Ben – Tuesday, Dec. 8 & 22 – 3:30 pm. Grab & Go Bags for adults once-a-month. Stop in to pick up a “Grab and Go Bag” – one per adult. Enjoy simple crafts you can do at home. Supplies are included. First come, first serve, while supplies last.

CHILDREN’S TAKE HOME ACTIVITIES 

Take Home:  Read and Do Bags!  Patrons can check out one bag per child at the Swedesboro Library. Each bag will contain 3 library books, a coloring page, and a simple craft you can do with your child at home. Different themes will be available while supplies last. Please be sure to bring your bag to the circulation desk for checkout.

Live Virtual Storytimes – check our virtual calendars, website, and newsletters for ongoing information. The times will all be at 10:30 am. December’s dates are Friday, Dec. 11, Thursday, Dec. 17, and Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Virtual Reading with FURever as Friends Holiday Celebration. Sign up to read to one of our adorable therapy animals virtually. Each child will be given a 10 minute slot. Email bwhitfield@gcls today to reserve your reading session:

Christmas I Spy – Stop into the Swedesboro Library to pick up your “I Spy” sheet. Drive or walk around your neighborhood to see if you can “spy” these Christmas displays. Return your completed board to the Swedesboro Library to receive a prize. Showing actual photos or circling your “finds” are both acceptable. This activity runs from December 1 to December 31 only.

TEENS/TWEENS

Teen Anime Club Online – Tuesdays, Dec. 8 & 22 – 3:30pm – 4:30pmGrades 6-12. All GCLS libraries will close at 2 pm on Thursday, Dec. 24, in observance of Christmas Eve. All GCLS libraries will be closed on Friday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas. We will be closing at 5 pm on Thursday, Dec. 31, in observance of New Year’s Eve.
