Dec. 2: Officers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road when the suspect vehicle entered I-295 South and attempted to elude Officers. Officers terminated the attempt to stop the vehicle, and later identified the driver. The 19 year old Newark, DE man is being charged with Eluding and motor vehicle summonses. Service has yet to be completed.

Dec. 4: After a Theft investigation with Home Depot Officials, Officers conducted a search warrant of a High Hill Rd residence. As a result, Officers charged the 50 year old Logan Twp. man with Receiving Stolen Property and Fencing. He was released on a summons with a future court date. Detectives are notifying jurisdictions where the Thefts occurred for further investigations and charges.

Dec. 8: Officers responded to UPS on Birch Creek Road for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee stole 12 Airpods valued at $250 each, totaling $3,000. The 38 year old Elmer man was arrested and charged with Theft. He was released on a summons with a pending court date.

Dec. 14: Officers responded to UPS on Birch Creek Road for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee’s bag with a Samsung Galaxy A11 and the charger were stolen from the break area.

The value of the Theft is $189.

Dec. 15: Officers were dispatched to a construction site on Pedricktown Road for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime over the weekend, someone entered the site and removed 60 concrete forms from a trailer. The approx. value of the Theft is $8,000.

Dec. 18: Officers were dispatched to an Eagle Farms residence for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that someone threw eggs at the residence, breaking a screen in the door. Damage was estimated at $50.

Dec. 20: Officers received a report regarding Theft of Christmas trees from the urns along Beckett Road. The value of this theft is approximately $200.

Dec. 29: Officers were dispatched to the Bridgeport Speedway for a Theft report. It was reported that during the course of the light show event, approx. $4,500 was stolen. The matter was turned over to the Detective Unit to follow up the investigation.
