Jan. 6: Officers spoke with an employee from an Arlington Boulevard business who reported that during his daytime work hours, someone removed the catalytic converter from his vehicle. The estimated value of the converter is $500.

Jan. 9: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle traveling over 100 mph on Rt 322. While conducting the stop, Officers observed a handgun in plain sight on the front seat and detected an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, Officers arrested the 26 year old Philadelphia man for Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine and Possession of Hollow Point Bullets. He was then lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Jan. 31: Officers were dispatched to Rite Aid on Village Center Drive for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect entered the store and stole three cartons of cigarettes. While following up on the investigation, the vehicle the suspect was driving had been reported stolen. The value of the stolen cigarettes is $233.
