Join a South Jersey Foundation in Saying “Fore!” Versus Breast Cancer

MULLICA HILL — Pink Clover’s 4th Annual Golf Outing for the Colleen Sorbello Breast Cancer Foundation will be held at the Harbor Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township, NJ on May 13, with registration starting at 12 p.m. and start time at 1 p.m.

The Golf Outing will have an 18 hole tournament, chance at hole-in-one prizes, individual prizes, with a light lunch served before the tournament, dinner to follow the tournament, and beverages available during play.

In just under four years since the foundation’s first board meeting, this local breast cancer foundation is proud to announce news of their thirteenth charity event.

Pink Clover has partnered with the University of New Haven, which in October of 2018, dedicated a new breast cancer research laboratory named the Colleen Sorbello Research Laboratory.  Colleen was a long-time Mullica Hill resident, who bravely fought breast cancer, and conceptualized the foundation’s mission.

In addition, Pink Clover has partnered with Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center, specifically to help support their research to prevent recurrence of breast cancer.

Pink Clover will help two South Jersey Women who are currently battling breast cancer with financial assistance with other life obligations. These women will be Pink Clover’s Comfort Recipients for the 4th Annual Golf Outing.

So far, the foundation has helped 11 women from the South Jersey area. The foundation’s mission is Research, Educate, and Comfort.
