July 1:­­­ Officers responded to Amazon on Center Square Road. for a Theft report. It was reported that on 6/24, someone entered the victim’s vehicle and stole$2,000 cash.

July 1: Officers received a motor vehicle complaint in the area of High Hill Road and Rt. 130, with the driver driving at high rates of speed. Officers located the vehicle traveling approximately 100 mph on Rt. 130. Upon stopping the vehicle, Officers detected an odor of alcohol coming from the driver. After performing Field Sobriety Tests, Officers arrested the 31-year-old Bridgeton man. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving. He was released to a third party with a future court date.

July 3: Officers responded to the Acme for a report of suspicious people asking for money. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with one of the suspects who refused to cooperate with Officers. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested the 44-year-old man from Douglasville, GA for Obstruction of Justice. He was released on a summons with a future court date.

July 5: Officers responded to Acme for a Trespassing and Shoplifting complaint, where a customer that had previously been removed from the property and not permitted back, was seen concealing items. Through surveillance, Officers identified the 37-year-old Woolwich man and charged him with Trespassing. He was given a summons and released with a future court date.

July 8: Officers responded to Mark IV on Veterans Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee was removing items from the business, specifically an Apple Mac Book Pro laptop, valued at $2,000. The 26-year-old male from Allentown, Pa was arrested and charged with Theft. He was processed and released on a summons pending a future court date.

July 8: Officers responded to a Barker Ave residence for a Criminal Mischief and Theft report. It was reported that someone entered the property and damaged several plants and ornamental items, valued at $110. Stolen from the property was a light, valued at $20.

July 13: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Center Square Road. While conducting the stop, Officers detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver. After conducting Field Sobriety Tests, Officers arrested the 40-year-old Woolwich man for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and charged with DUI and released to a third party with a future court date.

July 13: Officers responded to a suspicious person report of a male walking along High Hill Road swinging a stick. Upon investigating, the 33-year-old male from Vineland was arrested for Possession of Hypodermic Syringes. He was processed and released with a future court date.

July 14: Officers responded to UPS on Birch Creek Road for an Assault. It was reported that an employee was Assaulted by another employee during a dispute. After checking surveillance, Officers charged the 47-year-old Camden man with Assault. He was given a summons with a future court date.

July 14: Officers responded to Miller Trucking on Repaupo Station Road for a Theft report. It was reported that a truck was removed from the property recently. After entering the vehicle into NCIC as stolen, the vehicle was located in Glassboro. The vehicle was removed from NCIC and the owner was notified.

July 16: Officers responded to Target on Creekview Blvd. for a Theft of computers report. It was reported that Loss Prevention noticed nine laptops were missing. They approached an employee walking from the dumpsters with a trash bag, and upon opening the bag, located several HP laptops, valued at $500 each. As Officers spoke with the employee to investigate the Theft, he provided a false name. Through investigating, Officers identified and arrested the employee, a 21-year-old male from Philadelphia, for an active NCIC warrant from Pennsylvania. He was charged with Hindering Apprehension and being a Fugitive from Justice. He was lodged in the Salem County Jail to await extradition.

July 25: Officers were dispatched to the Wawa on Center Square Road for a report of a driver slumped over the wheel of the vehicle. While being evaluated by EMS, Officers observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. A subsequent search led to Officers locating several drugs and paraphernalia. The 28-year-old Logan Twp. man was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Hypodermic Syringes. He was processed and released on a summons pending a future court date.

July 26: Officers responded to Prologistix on Heron Drive for an unconscious person. While rendering aid, the patient became uncooperative and began assaulting EMS staff. After further medical assistance was provided, the 29-year-old Camden man was charged on a summons with Aggravated Assault on Medical Personnel.

July 31: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Heron Drive. When Officers stopped the vehicle, the driver got out and walked away, refusing to comply with Officers. When taken into custody, the driver provided false information about his identity. Through investigation, Officers obtained his real information and charged the 31-year-old Pennsville man with Obstruction of Justice and Resisting Arrest. He was also found to have several warrants for his arrest from other jurisdictions. He was then released pending a future court date.
