Aug. 2: Officers spoke with a West Deptford resident regarding a Theft report. The victim advised that he parked his motorhome at the park on Township Line Road and left it unoccupied. At some point, someone entered the motorhome and stole approx. $15,000 worth of clothing.

Aug. 5: Officers responded to the Marriott on Pureland Drive for a Theft from a motor vehicle report. It was reported that a vehicle shared by several employees had a Springfield Hellcat handgun stolen from the vehicle. The gun was entered NCIC and is valued at approximately $550.

Aug. 13: Officers responded to Heritage Bag on High Hill Road for a Trespassing report. It was

reported to Officers that a terminated employee was previously advised not to return. This employee returned and was now refusing to leave. Officers issued a summons for Trespassing to

the 42-year-old Dover, DE man, and he was removed from the property.

Aug. 17: Officers responded to the McDonald’s on Center Square Road for a dispute. It was reported to Officers that a female was upset over the food received and created a disturbance inside. During this disturbance, she damaged a plexiglass divider. Officers located the suspect at the Amazon on Center Square Road after being called for an unwanted person. After investigating, Officers charged the 40-year-old Gibbstown woman with Criminal Mischief. She was released with a future court date.

Aug. 18: Officers responded to the Village Pub parking lot for a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, Officers located the suspect vehicle at the Wawa on Center Square Road. While speaking with the suspect driver, Officers detected an odor of alcohol coming from the driver. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested the 48-year-old Girard, Ohio man for

Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party pending a future

court date.

Aug. 25: Officers responded to Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that two suspects entered the store, placed produce, dairy and meat items in a cart and left without paying. The value of the items is approx. $300.

Aug. 27: Officers responded to a fight at the Holiday Inn on Pureland Drive. It was reported that the assailant had an argument with another patron and started a fight, then left the hotel. As a result of the investigation, Officers charged the 38-year-old Brooklyn man with Simple Assault. He was released on a summons with a pending court date.
