WOOLWICH — The Swedesboro-Woolwich Parks & Recreation Committee will be finishing out the school year with a couple events.
The Township is selling discounted tickets to Adventure Aquarium in Camden. To purchase the tickets, please bring cash or a check to the Municipal Building Office. Adult tickets are $26.50 and child (age 2 to 12) tickets are $18.50. Tickets are valid any day of the week and are good until June 30, 2022.
There is a free movie night on June 15 (rain date is June 16) at Locke Ave Park featuring “Luca”. Luca is rated PG and runs for 95 minutes. It is an action, adventure, animation and comedy movie set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera.
“Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Remember to bring your chairs, blankets and refreshments. There is no need to register for this event.
“Start Your Engines” and join us for a Night at the Bridgeport Speedway on June 25. Swedesboro/Woolwich residents will be able to purchase a special combination ticket which includes one jumbo slice of pizza and a 20 oz. drink. This offer is only available to Swedesboro and Woolwich residents with proof of residency.
The tickets cost $22 for adults (ages 16+) and $12 for children (ages 10-15). Children aged 5 and under are free with no refreshments.
A drawing will be held for three families to participate in the show. One child from each family will announce “Start Your Engines” at the beginning of a race. In addition, the whole family will join the Feature race driver winner in the winner’s circle for photos.

We are preparing for the Fall events at this time. Some events planned include a kids paint night, adult paint night, family bingo, riverboat cruise with luncheon, and family roller skating party.
