Adult Programs:

Oceans of Possibilities: Thursday, July 7, 6:30 p.m. GCLS Greenwich Library. Dive into the world of oceans with the Center for Aquatic Sciences and learn about the unique creatures that call the ocean home. 

Life on the Reef: What Makes it so Diverse? Monday, July 11, 6 p.m. Mullica Hill Library. Join the Center for Aquatic Sciences and learn about the amazing ecosystems that make up the beautiful coral reefs found in our oceans. 

Documentary Viewing: My Garden of a Thousand Bees: Friday, July 15, 2 p.m. Swedesboro Library. Join us in watching “My Garden of a Thousand Bees” and learn about pollinators and their habitats. 

Crafter’s Corner: Paint Together on Canvas: Monday, July 18, 6:30 p.m. Let’s paint an ocean scene together with artist Gina Martucci of the Williamstown Art Center. All supplies included. Ages 18 and up. 

Downsizing & Decluttering:  Monday, July 25, 6 p.m. virtually via Zoom or in person at the Swedesboro Library. An AARP representative will lead a discussion to explore why stuff is so important for some people and provide practical, easy-to-follow tips on downsizing and decluttering. Ages 18 and up. 

Children’s Programs:

Oceans with Crystal Murphy Music: Wednesday, July 6, 1 p.m. Glassboro Library. DEEP DIVE in Ms. Crystal’s ocean submarine and explore under the water together with music, movement, dancing games, and instruments! All ages. 

Author Storytime with Nancy Viau: Thursday, July 7, 10:30 a.m. Greenwich Library. Join us for a special author Storytime as she reads from her book TODAY IS A BEACH DAY! Ages 2 – 6. 

Mad Science: Watercolor Sharks & Fish: Wednesday, July 13, 1 p.m. Glassboro Library.  There’s mad science in the ocean – learn about sharks and fish in this exciting show. 

Center for Aquatic Science: Live animal show: Monday, July 11, 11 a.m. Logan Library. Meet some of your favorite animas at this amazing show. All ages. 

South Pacific Island Dancers: Wednesday, July 13, 6 p.m. Mullica Hill Library. Enjoy a live performance featuring Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji and Samoa dances. All ages. 

Oceans of Possibility Storytime: Music Play Patrol: Tuesday, July 19, 10:30 a.m. Greenwich Library. Join us for a special performance by Music Play Patrol as we explore the oceans through songs, activities and a musical story. All ages. 

Eyes of the Wild: Wednesday, July 20, 1 p.m. Glassboro Library. Exotic animals come to the library! See, hear, touch and even move like an animal in this funny show. All ages. 

Special Olympics Young Athletes Program: Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m. Mullica Hill Library. Special Olympics Youth Athletes is a free inclusive sports program. Ages 2 – 7. 

StarLab with Pearl Observatory: Tuesday, July 26, 2 p.m. Glassboro Library. Enter an inflatable StarLab to learn about the night sky. All ages. 

Dive into Books Magic Show: Wednesday, July 27, 2 p.m., Mullica Hill Library. Enjoy a magic show with comedy, storytelling, puppets and more with Brian Richards. All ages. 

Library Lunch Bunch: every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in July, 12:15 p.m., Glassboro Library. Food provided by the Food Bank of South Jersey. Ages 6 -17. 

Teen/Tween programs

Tween Octopus Slime: Friday, July 1, 2 p.m. Logan Library. Make octopus slime to take home! Ages 9 – 12. 

Teen Game Night: Wednesday, July 6, 6 p.m. Mullica Hill Library. Come out to play classic board and video games. Ages 9 – 17.

Teen Time: Aquatic Jewelry & Button Badges: Friday, July 8, 1 p.m. Glassboro Library. Make something to wear with our sea glass beads and button maker. Ages 9 – 17.

Teen Art Space: Paper Bead Jewelry: Monday, July 11, 6:30 p.m. Greenwich Library. Make your own jewelry using recycled magazines. Ages 9 – 17.

Marbled Mug: Monday, July 11, 7 p.m. Swedesboro Library. Join us to make a very interesting, marbleized mug. Ages 13 – 17. 

Teen Karaoke: Wednesday, July 13, 3:30 p.m. Mullica Hill Library. Join us for some karaoke fun! Ages 9 – 17.

Teen Summit: Wednesday, July 20, 6:30 p.m. Mullica Hill Library. Join us to discuss current events and relevant topics with other teens. Ages 10 – 17.

Paint an Ocean Critter: Thursday, July 21, 7 p.m. Swedesboro Library. Paint a creature from under the sea provided by Fahrenheit Ceramic Studio. Supplies provided.  Ages 9 – 17.

Jellyfish Lanterns: Thursday, July 28, 4 p.m. Logan Library. Bring the wonder of the ocean into your room by making a jellyfish lantern. Ages 13 – 17.
