ST. PETER’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH PREPARES FOR A NEW SEASON

CLARKSBORO — Now that the last days of summer are coming to an end, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Clarksboro has a full schedule of events planned for the fall.

We are a growing congregation with new families joining us every week. These are families of all ages, many with young children ranging from infants to teens. As our Priest in Charge, Mother Mantelle, likes to say, welcome to the chaos!

It is chaos of the very best kind with the sounds and excitement of young children leaning about God for the very first time, teenagers working together side by side to help at church dinners and activities as well as adults gathering to carry our service projects in the community. It is a welcoming friendly, caring, happening place and we would love to have you join us!

The fall schedule at St. Peter’s looks like this:

Welcome Back Sunday and opening of church school, Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m.

Contactless Food Drive in Support of The Angels Community Outreach of Pitman- Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 until noon.

2nd Annual Gift Basket Extravaganza Event, Friday, Oct. 7beginning at 7 p.m. Preview times, Thursday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Annual Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner – Saturday, Nov. 19 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Mark your calendar now for these great events and plan on joining us and getting to know the people of St. Peter’s.
