Shopping Center and Baseball Academy Plans Up For Approval in Woolwich

ABOVE IS THE LOCATION OF THE RETAIL CENTER UP FOR FINAL APPROVAL

WOOLWICH TWP. – The Woolwich Township Joint Land Use Board (JLUB) will hold public hearings on July 6 to discuss the final Major Site Plan approval for a shopping center on Center Square Road, as well as a final use variance approval for a baseball training academy. These are two different entities.

Woolwich Realty, LLC, also known as JP Liquors, LLC, is proposing to construct a multi-phase retail shopping center on the 9.47 acres of vacant farmland, across from the newly opened Shop Rite. The application in front of the board states that the development will involve four phases of development for a total of 48,432 square feet of retail space.

Also at that meeting, a use variance application for a baseball training academy for youth sports and recreation will have its final approval hearing. The property is located at 1040 Township Line Road, the location of the now closed Dave Stecher Welding.

The JLUB can hear both planning and zoning issues at the same meeting. The meeting will take place at the Woolwich Township Municipal Building, 120 Village Green Drive, Woolwich Township at 7 p.m.
