48 Annual Mullica Hill House Tour, Dec. 9

MULLICA HILL — Welcome to the 48th Annual Christmas House Tour, featuring eight private homes this year as well as churches and historic buildings. The tour will be held on Dec. 9 from 3 to 7 p.m.

For the event you will enjoy music, refreshments, and merriment. Three photo spots have been created just for the tour.

The oldest home in Mullica Hill will be open that evening as part of our tour. There will be transportation on Main St. only. There are a few tour houses that you must drive to, but they are worth the drive.

One stop will feature 18th century antiques while the other is the second floor of the 1820’s house built in 1713. This particular stop will treat you to warm cider and hot soup. Just behind, the carriage house will house Santa’s antique sleigh for photos. Some homes may have steps, so please be mindful.

The homeowners put their heart and souls into their beautiful homes all year. It’s really nice to see all the hard work, especially nice during the holiday season.

Tickets are available in store or online at ticketleap.com type in Mullica Hill or call 856-223-5440. Tickets are $15 each and are nonrefundable.

This year a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Your Place at the Table, The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Mt. Calvary Baptist, and Crossroads Worship Center in order to gather together turkey baskets and get toys to help less fortunate families. Hosted by MH Events, they try to change it each year and donate the money where most needed.

After the Garden Tour in June held at The Historic Spicer House, and the office and home of Jeffrey S. Downs, Esquire, donations were made to an animal rescue.

The following week will bring photos and s’mores with Santa, another fan favorite. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the above charities.

Take photos with Santa and roast s’mores by the fire. Pets are welcome 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $6 and required for pets as well as all in photo.  All information can be found on Facebook at Farm House Designs or call the shop.

MH Events would like to thank all the homeowners who have always put their homes on the tour to make this event a success. Without houses, you can’t have a house tour.
