FEB. 1: Officers responded to Swedesboro for the report of a pedestrian hit-and-run. The investigation is pending at this time. No serious injuries were reported.
FEB 6: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Center Square Road and Village Green Drive in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers found the driver to have an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed, and lodged in Salem County Jail.
FEB. 6: Officers were dispatched to Wawa for the report of theft of gas. Officers were able to pull surveillance video of the incident and get the license plate. Officers quickly learned that the license plate was also stolen and did not belong to the suspect’s vehicle. The incident is being investigated at this time.
FEB. 8: Officers were dispatched to Wawa for the report of shoplifting. Surveillance video shows several juveniles taking items from the store. Officers were able to identify some of the involved individuals. All individuals were trespassed from the property, and Wawa was given the right to sign complaints.
FEB. 11: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Paulsboro Road and US Rt 322 in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The driver was given Standard Field Sobriety tests. The driver failed the test and was arrested. He was transported back to headquarters, processed, and charged before being released with a pending court date.
FEB. 14: During Woolwich Township Joint Municipal Court, two subjects got into a physical altercation. During the altercation, both subjects assaulted one another. Both subjects were escorted out of the court and arrested. They were processed, charged, and released with a pending court date.
FEB. 14: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Paulsboro Road and US Rt 322 in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers found the driver to have an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date.
FEB. 16: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Kings Highway and Glen Echo in Swedesboro. During the stop, officers found the driver to have an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date.
FEB. 20: Officers were dispatched to Oldmans Creek Road in Woolwich Township for the report of a package theft from a front porch. The suspect with a mask ran up to the house and stole the package before fleeing the scene.
FEB. 21: Officers were dispatched to the area of Hazel Boulevard in Woolwich Township for the report of a package theft. Video surveillance shows a masked individual walking up to the porch and taking the package.
FEB. 21: Officers were dispatched to the area of Kings Highway in Swedesboro for the report of a stolen bicycle. The bicycle is red with black rims.
FEB. 22: Officers were dispatched to a residence on Kings Highway in Swedesboro for a burglary. The victim advised that an unknown individual entered the home when she was not present and stole money and other belongings from the residence. An investigation is pending.
FEB. 23: Officers were dispatched to Wawa for the report of shoplifting. Video surveillance shows a juvenile entering the store and stealing a candy bar before walking out. Officers quickly located the juvenile. The juvenile was trespassed from the property, and the incident was documented.
FEB. 24: Officers were dispatched to Swedesboro for the report of a fight. Upon their arrival, they were met by both parties. All individuals were separated, and it was determined that the two involved in the incident did not need medical attention. The investigation is pending at this time.
FEB. 27: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Center Square and Tavistock in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers found the driver to have an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date.
FEB. 28: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Paulsboro Road and US Rt 322 in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers found the driver to have an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date.
FEB. 28: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Locke Ave and US Rt 322 in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers found the driver to have an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed, and charged with being a fugitive from justice. They were lodged in Salem County Jail until their hearing.
FEB. 29: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Woodstown Road in Woolwich Township. During the stop, officers found the driver to have multiple active warrants. The driver was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date.
