MICKLETON — Looking for a way to take off some of the Thanksgiving weight? Look no further than the East Greenwich Home and School Association’s Turkey Trot 5K Run/ 1 mile Walk and 1mile Fun Run.
Join in on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 9 a.m. at the Jeffrey Clark School in Mickleton. Proceeds from the event will directly Jeffrey Clark and Samuel Mickle Schools.
Register at http://www.tnteventmanagement.com/events.html : Register at early bird rate through Nov. 12. After Nov. 12, race day rates apply. Race Day registration is available from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at the Jeffrey Clark School, 7 Quaker Road, Mickleton.
Fun run starts promptly at 9 a.m.; 5k run and 1 mile walk start at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine.
T-shirts are guaranteed to all Early Bird registrants. Prizes will be awarded to overall top male/female finishers and top finishers in age groups. The race course is a paved surface.
