Adults:

Make your own Thanksgiving Center Piece – Tuesday, Nov. 8 – 6:30 p.m. Join us for this fun craft and get into the spirit of Thanksgiving! Space is limited, please register.

Sewing – Wednesdays, Nov. 9 – 6-8 p.m. Learn basic sewing skills with Miss Virginia. Bring your own sewing machine. You can also bring your own project to work on. Space is limited, please register.

Napkin Folding – Wednesday, Nov. 16 – 6:30 p.m. Don’t miss this fun time of learning creative ways to fold linen napkins to “Martha Stewart” your table.

Adult Book Club – The adult book club will begin meeting monthly again on Tuesday, Nov. 29 – 7 p.m. The adult book club meets the last Tuesday of each month unless otherwise specified. November’s book selection TBA.

Tween/Teens:

Service Opportunity – Tuesday, Nov. 22 – 6:30 p.m. Join others in learning how to make a fleece blanket and serving others by having the blanket donated to a child at Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.

Teen/Tween Book Club – The Teen/Tween book club will be on Thursday, Nov. 10 – 7 p.m. Our book club meets the second Thursday of each month unless otherwise specified. November’s selection will be Jackaby by William Ritter.

Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – Do you love writing? Join us on the second Mondays of each month.  This time will be devoted to writing! You can work on your own writing or pull ideas from our binder. It’s up to you if you would like to share your work each session. We’ll take our favorite pieces and publish them in our Teen Express Literary Magazine.
We will meet on Monday, Nov. 14 – 7 p.m.

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Nov. 17– 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time.

Anime Club – Anime meets on the fourth Mondays at 4:30 p.m. Feel free to come dressed in costume. You can also bring Pokemon cards or Yu Gi Oh cards to play, watch an Anime movie/show and/or draw Manga characters. We will meet on Monday, Nov. 28 – 4:30 p.m.

Teen Advisory Board – We welcome teens to join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Literacy Buddy and work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Learn to write reviews and create a quarterly teen newsletter. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

Literacy Buddies – Looking for teens interested in being a literacy buddy beginning fall 2016. Teens will work one-on-one with a child who needs help learning English, learning to read, or needs help with homework. Commitment is one hour a week. Call 856-467-0111 if you are interested.

Children:

Literacy Buddies – Does your child need help with homework, reading or learning English – call us at 856-467-0111 and we will try to match your child with a teen one hour a week.

Amazing Math/Science Lab – Join us the first Thursdays of each month for our science/math club. We’ll do science experiments some evenings or we may work on math challenges and math games. This month we meet Thursday, Nov. 3 – 7 p.m.

Maker Space Cart: Stop in and use our maker-space cart. You can make buttons, work with snap circuits, make a bracelet, or make a craft.

FURever as Friends – This program is really a program for all ages and for anyone who loves our friendly, adorable therapy animals. Children can read to our friends and toddlers can share picture books and brush our animals. Some of our animals even do tricks. This month our animals will be visiting on Mondays, Nov. 7 & 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Toddlers & Babies:

Mother Goose! – Don’t miss the fabulous, entertaining, and educational Mother Goose! She’ll be here on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 a.m. This program will be held at the Bethesda Social Hall.

Tuesday Story Time – Story Time is a fun time. Hear stories, sing songs, and make a craft. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Nov. 8, 22, & 29). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.

Wednesday Story Time and Dance – Join the fun Wednesday morning story times. Wednesday morning story time meets at 10:30 a.m. November dates are Nov. 9, 16, & 30 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursdays, Nov. 3 & 17 – 10:30 am. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s dates is Thursday, Nov. 10- 10:30 a.m. Registration is required as space is limited.
