SUESSMUTH — Robert A. Suessmuth, age 73, of Mickleton passed away on Sept. 22, 2016. Born in 1943, he was the son of the late George Suessmuth and Doris (nee Kane). Bob completed his secondary education at Morrison Academy in Taiwan where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for athletics. He received an undergraduate degree from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA where he also competed in soccer, basketball, and baseball. Furthering his schooling at Glassboro State College, Bob received the Master of Arts degree in Administration.
He began his career in education as a middle school history teacher in Camden. After five years, he was promoted to Assistant Personnel Director for the district. In 1974, Bob accepted the role of Personnel Director for Gloucester Township Public Schools, eventually becoming the Superintendent of Schools in the same district. Since his retirement in 2005, he has served as Interim Superintendent for Elk Twp., Gibbstown, Waterford Twp., Lower Alloway Twp., and most recently, West Deptford Twp.
Bob’s interests outside of education included coaching youth soccer and softball in East Greenwich Twp. and refereeing soccer matches, for which he was inducted into the South Jersey Soccer Hall of Fame. Being a man of strong faith, Bob served as Elder, Sunday School teacher, and Worship Leader at Southward Baptist Church in West Deptford, NJ.
He is survived by his wife Sharlene L. (nee Baumiester); children Todd Suessmuth and wife Kelly of Manheim, PA, Heather J. McCarthy and husband Edward of Savannah, GA, and Troy J. Suessmuth and wife Debrah of Pottstown, PA; and grandchildren Tyler, Jackson, Madison, Jake, Ethan and Micah. Bob is also survived by sisters Judith Lease and Janet West and husband John. Bob was predeceased by his granddaughter Kelsey Nicole Suessmuth.

LEWITT — William J. Lewitt “Billy” on Sept. 26, 2016 of Swedesboro. Age 49. Loving husband of Joanna J. (nee Sweatmon). Son of Eileen M. Lewitt (nee Barnett) of Mantua and the late William Lewitt. Step-father of Erin Ackley of W. Deptford. Brother of Eileen Stoudt (Bill) of West Deptford, Donna Cabot (Mike) of National Park and Carol Axelrod (Ryan) of West Deptford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Billy was a self-employed carpenter and the owner of Creative Home Repair. He was a Civil War buff, loved camping and enjoyed listening to country music.

GAGE — Jeffrey L. Gage,66, of Swedesboro. Ice skating on Lake Narraticon at age, 14 he’d meet a 13 year old Darlene Slusar. Spinning her around he’d tell her he was going to marry her. After 47 years of marriage Jeff’s last wish was to dance on the beach with her in the Islands. He wore a tux, she a gown, in the middle of some candles and the moonlight. His mind was always on the move: he tinkered with radio control cars and airplanes, crafted poetry in the middle of the night and sculpted bonsai trees. Jeff had a science fiction book in him, “Fateful Intentions,” that never quite got finished. But for a guy that sick, he got pretty close. Of course life wasn’t all cerebral, he also loved everything from fishing to canoeing and spent his youth on his motorcycle.
After graduation from Kingsway Jeff enlisted in the Air Force and saw the world before finally making his way back to Swedesboro. He worked for many years for Sunoco Logistics.
He was blessed with a son, Jeffrey 2nd (Melissa) and daughter, Dara Wright (Augustine) and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Mark, and sister, Janet English (Louis) and best friend, Dale Zittle. Interment Lake Park Cemetery.

SOMERS — Judith A. Somers (Cox) age 72, of Mullica Hill passed on Sept. 30, 2016. A retired Secretary from Thomas and Cook Law Office; Judy enjoyed bingo, bowling, traveling, and spending time spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her loving husband George; her children Cheryl (Joseph) Bellocchio, Jane Somers, and George Somers III, grandchildren Toni, Joseph, and Matthew. Great Grandchildren Jack, Giuliana, Joseph, and Michael. Sisters June Rodriguez and Jeanne Burr, and predeceased by siblings Arlene “Whoopie” Wilkins and Sylvan “Bubby” Cox.

STARK— Shirley G. Stark (nee Greene) of Mullica Hill, formerly of Uniontown, PA, passed away Oct. 8, 2016 at the age of 77 years.
Beloved wife of the late James C. Stark. Loving mother of Karma Stark of Mantua, NJ, Jeff Stark (Kristy) of Mullica Hill, and the late James T. Stark (Joetta) of Franklinville, NJ. Dear sister of Harriet I. Chanki of Alisa, PA. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert A. Greene, William J. Greene, James E. Greene, Richard R. Greene and sister Thelma L. Hudson. Loving grandmother of Tammy, Kimberly, Alexis, and Brian and loving great-grandmother of Madison, Hayden, Troy and Kasey. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Shirley graduated from Redstone Twp. High School in 1956. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be sadly missed.

MOSSBRUCKER — Emmalorraine Mossbrucker (nee Sargent) age 66 years of Clarksboro died Oct. 10, 2016 in Cooper Hospital, Camden.
Mrs. Mossbrucker was born in Philadelphia and raised in Media. She ran track for Edward W. Bock Technical High School in Philadelphia and qualified for the 1968 Olympic Trials where she raced against Wilma Rudolph. Mrs. Mossbrucker worked as a Security Supervisor for Allied Barton in Carneys Point. She was a faithful member of several local churches; the Order of the Eastern Star in Philadelphia and a diehard Eagles Fan.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey A. Mossbrucker of Clarksboro; her children, Madeline Sargent and her companion, Chee Serrano of Philadelphia, Charles “Nolan” Sargent of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Luis, James and Asjahnay; two great grandsons; her sisters, Adriane Sargent and Terri Sargent both of Philadelphia; her brother, John H. III and Sabrina Sargent of New Windsor, NY and her Aunt, Arnitta Ryhanes of Swedesboro. Mrs. Mossbrucker was predeceased by her parents, John and Emma Sargent; her sisters, Juanita McBride and Annabelle Sargent and her brother, John Sargent II.

TURLINSKI — Bernard Turlinski age 70, of Mullica Hill passed away Oct. 15, 2016 at home. Bernard was retired from the EPA where he worked as Associate Director for Air Enforcement. Bernie was involved with Knights of Columbus where he had reached Level three status.

CHAMBERS-FIORENTINO — Florence Elaine Chambers-Fiorentino (Floss), 79, of Mullica Hill, went to our Lord on Oct. 15, 2016. Floss is survived by her beloved husband, Nino (John) Fiorentino, and their devoted children, Linda A. Reeves and her husband Hank H., Jr.; John A. Fiorentino and his wife, Debbie, and Jeffrey J. Fiorentino and his wife, Laura R. She is forever remembered by her loving grandchildren, Sydney L. Fiorentino; Nicholas J. Fiorentino and his companion Hollie E. Mahoney; Jenna A. POTTS-TALONE — Marleen Potts-Talone, 63, of Swedesboro. She knew how to fend for herself as well as care for those around her. Perhaps it came from Marleen’s youth: she was one of eleven brothers and sisters. Her two sons were the reason for her existence, but if any of her siblings needed a hand she was always ready to help and her door was always open. Earlier years found Wheaton Glass Co. getting all the benefits from her hard work, but she left the area and went to Florida to be close to her Mom and sister, Colleen. While there she worked at Home Shopping Network as a customer service rep: Marleen dealt with the most difficult customers. Soon after solving their problems they’d be thanking her for her soothing ways. Marleen gave the perfect gifts, but it wasn’t by accident. All year she saved and planned for just the right purchases for her sons at Christmas; always the right clothes and the trendiest games and toys. In 2015 she retired, sold her house, packed up and came back to New Jersey to be with a son and get to know the grandchildren.
