First Pioneer Open Horse Show March 18 

horse show webLOGAN TWP. — First Pioneer Open Show Series, formally Warm Up Show, will be held on March 18 at the Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township. A second show in the series will be held on July 22. Start time is 9 a.m.

There will be a Fun Night on Horseback on the Friday evening before each show. On March 17, starting at 7 p.m., the night will start with a St. Patrick’s Day Costume Class and special awards for the best costume. There will also be command, pairs, egg and spoon, key hole, poles, and barrels as well as jackpot barrels classes.

The show series will feature several riding divisions including mini horse ,18 and under, novice youth, mini short stirrup, short stirrup, hunter, ranch horse, adult walk trot, 12 and under walk trot, senior, jackpot classes, and money payback for many classes that have eight or more riders.

A donation to the South Jersey equine handicap riding program at The Dream Park luncheon will be made. Vendors are welcome. Email or call for information rkrockink@cs.com, or 856-297-1844.
