Theraputic Riding Center Ribbon Cutting

A RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY was held on July 25 to celebrate the official grand opening of the new Therapeutic Riding Center at the DREAM Park. The program now has its own building equipped with a special chair lift, a ramp, holding pens for the horses, state of the art lighting, fans and heaters to allow special needs individuals to learn about riding year-round. Instructor and founder is Terry Lewis, a certified Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH). On hand for the ribbon cutting was (left to right) Gloucester County Freeholder Frank DiMarco, Wheelabrator representative Mike Dougherty, riding center founder Terry Lewis, State Senate President Stephen Sweeney, two riding program students Kimberly and John, Freeholder Robert Damminger, and Deputy Assembly Speaker John Burzichelli.
