The Gobbler Brigade did a fantastic job

SWEDESBORO — On Saturday, Nov. 20, many volunteers from Kings Things distributed over 200 complete turkey dinners. Father Ed of St. Clare of Assisi Parish blessed the food to be distributed.

Volunteers Joanna Gahrs set up a drive-thru that worked very well. Bill, Jean, Tom, Cindy, Barb, Margie, Jo-Ann, Debbie, Tom, Virginia, Carol Jack, Aaron and the Heisel family made it happen.

Acme Markets’ Chuck Fisher was amazing, taking time from his busy schedule to help.

Now, please turn your attention to Kings Things Christmas Program.

Applications were distributed to those who went through our drive thru. Others are being mailed and are available at Kings Things Thrift Store during normal store hours.

Elves are needed.

The schedule is: Sorting Monday, Dec. 13; Packing – Wednesday, Dec. 15; Gift Sorting – Thursday, Dec. 16. This will start at 6 p.m. at St. Clair of Assisi Hall, 140 Broad Street, Swedesboro.

Delivery is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 18 starting at 9:00 a.m.

The people in the Greater Swedesboro area are truly remarkable and always come to the rescue.
